Privacy Notice
This privacy notice discloses the privacy practices for Apigrate, the Apigrate website ("website") https://www.apigrate.com, and applications hosted by Apigrate.
This privacy notice applies solely to information collected by this website. It will notify you of the following:
- What personally identifiable information is collected from you through the website, how it is used and with whom it may be shared.
- What choices are available to you regarding the use of your data.
- The security procedures in place to protect the misuse of your information.
- How you can correct any inaccuracies in the information.
Information Collection, Use, and Sharing
We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to and collect information that you voluntarily give us via email, application use, web forms, or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.
Generally we use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request or fulfill application functions.
We may collect and/or track certain information that is derived from the use of our products such as usage patterns, travel patterns, web site page views and traffic patterns. We may use this tracking and location information for statistical purposes to improve our products and services.
Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about promotions, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy.
Application Use of Data
Apigrate hosts applications to which you may be a subscriber. The information you provide these applications is to ensure their continuing service and function. Data used by or provide to these applications is only used to fulfill the function of the application, and is not shared with other third parties outside your organization.
Example 1: You may subscribe to our TimeSaver application. It requires that you authorize it to collect your Toggl time entry data so that it can be sent to QuickBooks Online. We do not own, nor do we claim to own ANY of the data you grant us access to in Toggl or in QuickBooks Online. To the extent that this data is shared with us, it is only used by the TimeSaver application to create transactions between Toggl and QuickBooks Online. We do not share or otherwise disseminate this data with any other party.
Example 2: You may subscribe or utilize Apigrate Integration Services. We frequently use data stored in Google Spreadsheets to help cross-reference your data between applications linked using Apigrate Integration Services (including Google). Some clients prefer for this Sheets data to be stored on their own Google account. In order for us to utilize this data, you must authorize your Google account to share access to this spreadsheet data. (We cannot access it without your permission.) Once you give this permission, we securely store the temporary granted credentials that allow our services to use the data on your account. Apigrate Integration Services requires your permission to make updates to Google sheets data in order perform data updates and make status updates to Sheet information you require us to integrate with.
Your Access to and Control Over Information
You may opt out of any future contacts from us at any time. You can do the following at any time by contacting us via the email address or phone number given on the website:
- See what data we have about you, if any.
- Change/correct any data we have about you.
- Have us delete any data we have about you.
- Express any concern you have about our use of your data.
Application Reliance on Data
To the extent that the data you have provided to us is essential to the function of an application to which you are subscribed, removing data or removing access to the data may result in inability for our Apigrate applications to function properly. In this case, it may be necessary to suspend or cancel your subscription or access to an application. If, in response to your request, we determine this is the case, we will respond to your request via email to notify you of the situation, so that you may choose an appropriate course of action before functionality is lost.
Security
We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.
Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as usernames, application credentials or credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a lock icon in your browser address bar and looking for "https" at the beginning of the address of the website.
While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The servers in which we store authorization information and any personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment. Credit card data specifically is not stored at-rest on any Apigrate server and is instead transmitted to and stored securely at our credit-card processing partner.
If you feel that we are not abiding by this privacy policy, you should contact us immediately via telephone at +1 224 707 0130 or via email at support@apigrate.com.
